Eligibility

• Be an Indian citizen.

• Be a domicile of the North-Eastern Region (NER).

• Have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in the preceding year from a school situated within NER through a recognized Board of Education including.

• Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

• Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE).

• National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

• Have secured admission in the first year of a general degree/technical/professional/medical/paramedical course (Integrated courses included) in a recognized college/university/institute in India.

• Be enrolled in the first year of a postgraduate degree program at a recognised university/college/institution in India.

• Have an annual family income below ₹4,50,000 for UG course.

• Have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000 For PG.

Documents Required

• Aadhaar card

• A passport-size photograph of the applicant

• Income certificate issued by competent authority

• Proof of admission

• Academic transcripts including marksheets and certificates of the previous qualifying examination

• Bank account details of the student
